We hope you all are off to a great start to your weekend! We had such a fun week over here at Interior Impressions. Following a year of stay-at-home life, this year our team wanted to make it a priority to spend time together. We decided a boat day was a must! Amy was gracious to host us on her gorgeous boat for an afternoon on the St. Croix River. We had tons of fun, laughs, a few glasses of wine and just simply the best time together. We ended the evening with a sunset picnic on the beach, all setup by Pillows & Prosecco Picnic Company. Let’s take you on our boat day!
We started the afternoon by heading down to the boat with all of our bags, and Pillows & Prosecco’s picnic supplies. Once everything was on board, we took off out onto the water. We gathered in this beautiful sitting area, and enjoyed shared appetizers, fresh cucumber jalapeno margaritas and the cutest charcuterie board made by Amy, and plenty of sunbathing on the boat’s front deck.
The day was warmer than ever – 90+ degrees. After enjoying our appetizers and a couple of drinks, we snapped a few team photos before jumping into the water to cool off. After a few floaty fails, we finally all linked up together and chatted the afternoon away.
After floating, we headed to the beach for our picnic. The sky was showing off, and we had the most beautiful sunset on the way there. Once we arrived, Karah (our marketing director & owner of Pillows & Prosecco Picnic Co.) setup the styled picnic for us. How adorable is the letterboard? She personalizes the letterboard for every picnic based on the occasion. A rug, pretty pillows, the minimalistic table, fresh greenery and assorted pampas grass, the thoughtful decor and accessories, all of that is included in the setup as well. The company also has different packages and add-ons that you can choose from if you’d like to elevate your picnic that much more. She even landed a partnership with a local, family-owned winery in Ham Lake, MN where she is able to have picnics. (Bonus: the winery package includes a free bottle of wine AND a charcuterie board from Say Cheese MN).
For our dinner we had this delicious salad accompanied with grilled blue cheese and pepper jack-stuffed chicken breasts. The sunset, the food, the people, the picnic, it was all perfect.
A huge thank you to Pillows & Prosecco Picnic Co. for making the evening so special. We are blessed to have such a creative, thoughtful and joyful team. Our day couldn’t have been more perfect, and as mentioned, we are so thankful we were able to gather together for some quality time.
